Greg and I met by chance; he needed an upper primary teacher in Mongolia and I needed a job. Neither of us was looking for a relationship. In fact, I had declared that I was finished with the whole dating thing, that it was easier and more fun to be alone, and I was excited by the possibilities of returning overseas to begin the next chapter in my life. That pretty much changed between the time it took Greg to walk through the door for our interview, shake my hand, and introduce himself. Sigh. The Voice. How could I possibly resist The Voice, especially when it was attached to the man sitting across from me? I didn’t, not for long anyway. The rest has been a blur of countries, work and travel, lots of laughter, quiet moments shared, planning for the future and living in the moment, together. Nobody’s perfect, but Greg is perfect for me.
